Commissioned by Hong Kong Baptist University for violinist Patrick Yim and Yinbin Qian, Quiet Music was composed during the 2019 protests as a prayer for peace and an expression of solidarity with the people of Hong Kong.
Composer SCOTT ORDWAY (b. 1984, California) has become recognized for his boundary-defying mixed-media projects, creating widely-acclaimed work that has been called “exquisite” (The New York Times) and “a marvel” (The Philadelphia Inquirer).
